Toronto’s best spas for an escape from the city rush

One of the best parts of living in Toronto is the easy access to services and experiences you may not have in a small town. My personal favourite easy-to-access service is the spas. Toronto is filled with fantastic high-end spas, which means the hardest part will be narrowing down the one you want to visit first.

Guerlain Spa

Named the best hotel spa in Canada, I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t recommend Guerlain Spa.

The spot can be found inside Hotel X, nestled along the waterfront.

There are 10 treatment rooms offering a variety of services such as facial treatments, RMT treatments, body treatments, manicures, and pedicures.

Where: Hotel X — 111 Princes’ Blvd.

The Spa at The Old Mill

I love The Old Mill, and the spa is one of the reasons.

Located right by Old Mill station, this spot is easy to get to but will have you feeling like you’ve escaped to the European countryside.

Be sure to book a massage and to check out the salt chamber — it’s amazing.

Where: The Old Mill – 9 Old Mill Rd.

Hammam Spa by Céla

Steam rituals, mud wraps, body scrubs, massages, custom facials, you name it, Hamman Spa has got it.

Wth two locations on King West and by the Bayview Shopping Centre, you can visit this special spot whether you live downtown or outside the core.

Where: 602 King St. W. and 2901 Bayview Ave.

Spa at Four Seasons Toronto

If you’re looking for a luxurious experience, book a day at the spa at Four Seasons Toronto.

“Explore our diverse range of services, from soothing massages to cutting-edge treatments at our wellness bio bar. Relax and recharge in our serene relaxation pool, detoxify in the steam room, or invigorate your body in our state-of-the-art fitness suite,” shares Four Seasons Toronto.

Where: Four Seasons Toronto – 60 Yorkville Ave.

Elmwood Spa

Elmwood has been around for a while and is loved by locals.

You can indulge in one of the spa services or book a retreat, which range from a few hours to a full day!

There are also a ton of couples’ experiences you can book, too.

Where: 18 Elm St.

Book that spa day, Toronto. You earned it.
