Sometimes the best way to escape your daily stressors is to book a flight and go on a solo trip. If you have the liberty to do so, you’ll want to do some research into which countries and cities are best for solo travellers. Luckily for you, this Canadian city was named one of the 33 best places to travel alone in 2023, according to a new report.
Per the U.S. News & World Report, out of all the travel destinations across the world, Canada is home to one of the best cities for those wanting to travel alone. From nature experiences to warm beaches, and cooler destinations to city views, the list features a selection of cities around the globe like San Diego, Tuscany, Seville in Spain, and Naples, Florida.
“There are many reasons to travel solo, like the freedom of not having to coordinate with others’ schedules and getting to spend time doing only what interests you most,” states the report. “Plus, many destinations offer easy transportation, lots of activities, and relatively safe environments that make them ideal for exploring alone.”
Well, according to the report, the Canadian city that is one of the best places to travel alone is none other than Toronto.
