Toronto ranked one of the world’s best cities for a girls’ trip in 2023

Vegas who? Palm Springs? Never heard of her. According to a new ranking of the world’s best girls’ trip destinations in 2023, Toronto is one of the best places to visit.

According to the ranking by U.S. News and World Report, these destinations “offer something for every woman in your group.”

Toronto is the only Canadian city included in the global ranking. Not even Vancouver or Montreal made the cut!

When it comes to city getaways, Toronto has a little bit of everything, from great restaurants to world-class spas and nightlife options galore.

“The city’s abundance of distinct neighborhoods, such as Little Italy, Greektown, Chinatown and Little India, make it a superb spot for foodies,” the description says.

“Meanwhile, fashionistas may want to shop for designer clothing at Bloor-Yorkville, and music enthusiasts can check out top live music venues like Horseshoe Tavern, The Rex and Massey Hall.”

The ranking also gives a shoutout to the Bisha Hotel, which is famous for its rooftop infinity pool in the summer and multitude of amenities and restaurants.

The city is also home to one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world and one of the best food markets in the world too.

Some people might think that winter is not the ideal time to visit Toronto, but attractions like the Distillery District Winter Village and Union Station skating rink could definitely sway one’s opinion.

Here are some of the cities included in the ranking:

  • Lexington, Kentucky
  • Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
  • Paris
  • Atlanta
  • London
  • Newport Beach
  • Cancun
  • Miami
  • Dublin
