This scenic Ontario trail has one of Niagara’s most breathtaking & panoramic views

Ontario’s natural beauty is incomparable! From breathtaking mountaintops to vantage points with panoramic views, there’s a lot to discover. This fall, head to Beamer Memorial Conservation Area for one of the most breathtaking views of the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario. There’s a lookout trail calling your name – here’s what to know.

According to the Niagara Peninsula Conservation, Beamer Memorial Conservation Area is renowned for being “the best vantage point in the Niagara Peninsula to observe the annual spring hawk migration.”

It’s just over an hour’s drive west of Toronto, near St Catherines.

The land is part of the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve and it’s a gorgeous adventure in the fall.

For a truly rewarding experience, take a stroll down the scenic lookout and Bruce trails. Here you can get stunning views of the 40 Mile Creek Valley, the Lake Ontario shoreline, and the escarpment ridge from one of the viewing platforms, per NPCA.

Along the trail, you’ll also find some surprises like rushing waters and a mini waterfall.

And since it’s an ideal location for observing the annual hawk migration, you will spot bald eagles, turkey vultures, and other birds of prey but you’ll have to wait until March for that.

According to The Niagara Geopark, this conservation area is open year-round and is free to explore, safely of course.

Add this spot to your fall bucket list.
