This Alberta Beach Festival will have a DJ, bonfire and a sandcastle competition

There’s sun in the sky and fun on the calendar! From the Stampede and K-Days to markets and concerts, Alberta has come to life but there are only a few events where you can feel the sand between your toes while you play.

This August, check out Beach Fest, a bright and colourful shindig held on the shores of Lesser Slave Lake.

Described as “fun for the whole family,” Devonshire Beach will be buzzing with food, music and games, but this is only the tip of the iceberg!

In addition to this, party-goers will also be able to take part in beach volleyball games, doggy island races, a bonfire and a sandcastle competition!

For two days, get a tan, grab a drink and enjoy the fireworks on the coastline in addition to dancing around to a live DJ!

Want to check it out?! While more information has yet to be released, Beach Fest will take place this August – so don’t miss it!

There’s nothing quite like it.
