BC’s largest tulip festival is set to return this weekend

Heads up folks, because an absolutely massive tulip festival is set to return to the Fraser Valley this weekend! After months of planning, the Chilliwack Tulip Festival is set to reopen this Sunday, April 11th! The festival offers millions of beautiful tulips to explore, so here’s the rundown.

The Chilliwack Tulip Festival has been in operation for a while, but unfortunately could not take place last year due to the ongoing pandemic. However, for this year, they worked with local health authorities to make sure that the outdoor experience is safe to attend.

Unfortunately, it also means that for the time being, the festival will only be available to residents of the Fraser Valley. This is because current health restrictions advise against interregional travel. But hey, we’re hoping that Vancouver residents will be able to go check it out sooner rather than later.

And, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any more flower festivals that are kicking off around Metro Vancouver! In the meanwhile, you can follow the Chilliwack Tulip Fest on Instagram for updates.

Enjoy the spring, folks!
