The world’s largest Banksy exhibition tour is coming to Canada

Get ready to immerse yourself in the world of a legendary artist. The world’s largest Banksy exhibition tour, BANKSYLAND, is coming to several Canadian cities this summer and fall.

BANKSYLAND is described as an international touring exhibit that “immerses audiences in the works of the world’s most infamous and elusive artist.”

This one-of-a-kind exhibit features Banksy’s original and studio works, as well as salvaged street artworks, and never-before-seen installations.

“Experience the mystique and cultural impact of the most sought-after artist of our time, live and in person,” the description says.

You’ll get to feast your eyes on previously-unseen works that will make you feel fully immersed in every detail.

If you don’t already know, Bansky is an England-based street artist, political activist, and film director.

The artist has remained anonymous to this day but their prolific artwork is celebrated across the globe and has sold for millions at auction.

This exhibition is so popular that it has sold out in cities all over the US.

Pretty soon, Canadians in four cities will have the chance to experience it firsthand.

Here are the cities and dates of the BANKSYLAND exhibition in Canada:

  • Toronto — August 25th to August 27th, 2023
  • Montreal — September 8th to 16th, 2023
  • Edmonton — September 22nd to 24th, 2023
  • Vancouver — September 29th to October 1st, 2023

The locations are still under wraps for now, but if you manage to get a ticket, you’ll be in the know.

It’s worth noting that Banksy’s representatives have declined to take a fee or royalties from this exhibition.

Banksy’s official website has a list of “fake” exhibitions that have “been organized entirely without the artist’s knowledge or involvement.”

If you can’t pass up the opportunity to immerse yourself in their legendary artwork, you better snag a ticket while you can!
