This Alberta mountain town will have a magical European-style holiday market

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The Banff Christmas Market is making a highly-anticipated return to Alberta’s ultimate cozy mountain town.

Starting on November 14h, experience four weekends of holiday magic including an outdoor fireside lounge, treats Santa’s House & Workshop and over 150 vendors!

Here’s everything to know before you go.

Where & when

The Banff Christmas Market kicks off on November 14th for “Locals Night” then will run each weekend until December 8th, 2024.

The market hours will be Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

This year’s location will be at the Banff Heritage Train Station, different than last year’s which was held at Warner Stables.

What to expect

Tickets for this year’s market must be purchased online and are priced at $15 for adults aged 11-64, $12 for seniors, $5 for children 3-10 and free for children under the age of two.

Be sure to look closely when you book as all ticket purchases will be arranged through timeslot bookings to help manage the Market’s capacity.
