Brews and views? Here’s everything you need to know about Banff Beer Fest

Picture this: You’re on a winter weekend getaway from Calgary. You’ve reached the top of a snowy mountain, taking in the beautiful views while sipping on some deliciously exceptional beer.

Sounds perfect, right?

Well, you don’t have to picture it! Because the Banff Craft Beer Festival is fast approaching, and as of writing, you have to act fast to grab the remaining tickets before they sell out!

Banff Beer Fest

Located at the Canadian National Historic Site Cave and Basin, and hosted by the premier Alberta Beer Festival, the Banff Beerfest is a sampling event that features some of the best breweries around in a location that truly cannot be beaten.

Some choice breweries you can expect to explore are Sawback Brewing Company, Canmore Brewing Company, and Alberta’s very own Big Rock Brewery

Beer isn’t the only thing flowing, as there will be distilleries like Arctic Blue, Eau Claire, and Bridgeland to help you get into the spirit.

And, with epic DJs and exquisite food options, the festival is a guaranteed sell-out for a reason.

Banff Beer Fest

Speaking of — the Friday and Saturday of this festival are already sold out, with the Thursday package selling fast.

For the price of entry (which only starts at $64.99), you can secure yourself $40 in sample tokens and a commemorative sample mug to drink all your brews out of at your home.

If you need to “work from home… from Banff,” there are hotel packages that’ll get you all this and a one-night stay at a selected Banff Lodging Co hotel. You’ll also get a shuttle to and from the festival site, so no need to worry about driving back and forth!

Mark your calendars and head over to the Banff Beer Festival’s website to discover local craft beverages, enjoy live entertainment, and explore Alberta’s craft beer scene!
