ATB Up Campaign Just Raised $125K For AB Mental Health!

Hey Alberta, ready for some feel-good news? The #ATBup campaign by ATB Financial has officially come to a close, and they’ve just announced their final donation amount in support of the Alberta Mental Health Foundation.

Thanks to the help of Albertans across the province… they’ve raised a total of $125,000!

And, it doesn’t stop there! Through the help of their individual challenges, they were also able to contribute:

Layer Up Challenge

A donation of 1,275 articles of new clothing for four different non-profits in Alberta including:

  • Calgary Drop-In Centre,
  • Bissell Centre, Edmonton
  • Rotary House, Grande Prairie
  • Lethbridge Stabilization Centre and Shelter

Toss Up Challenge

Resulted in providing 240 Indigenous youth access to a month of sport and play programming through Spirit North.

Dish Up Challenge

Resulted in more than 1,400 meals provided for four non-profits in Alberta including:

  • Edmonton Meals on Wheels
  • Calgary Meals on Wheels
  • Grande Prairie Seniors Outreach Meals on Wheels
  • Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization Meals on Wheels

To bring you up to speed, the #ATBup campaign started on March 1st, 2021 and ran until March 12th, 2021. The task was simple – get involved with a daily challenge by posting with the hashtag #ATBup, or liking, commenting, saving and sharing other #ATBup posts. Every time someone engaged with the hashtag, ATB Financial would donate $1 towards mental health in Alberta. Giving back was truly that simple!

Needless to say, we’re pretty impressed with the official total and the support the campaign gathered across the province. Just further proof of the support Albertans provide to each other, and a great example of local businesses giving back!

Congrats Alberta, we did it! And thanks to ATB for creating such a heartwarming, community-focused and fun campaign!
