A ‘mind-bending’ immersive exhibit about Earth is coming to Toronto

Something new and exciting is coming our way, friends. This fall, Toronto will be home to a “mind-bending” immersive experience called Arcadia Earth.

After successful runs in New York, Las Vegas, and Saudi Arabia, this 17,000-square-foot immersive journey through planet Earth is making its Canadian debut as a permanent installation inside The Well, Toronto’s newest downtown district.

“Reimagining the way we address the most pressing environmental issues of our time, Arcadia Earth is the first experience of its kind to offer a powerful, intimately personal exploration of the plight of our planet through human scale art installations and the futuristic lens of augmented and virtual reality,” says a description of the new attraction.

The exhibition is powered by augmented reality, virtual reality, and projection mapping.

The combination of in-person and virtual effects will transport you into a surreal universe.

The mission of Arcadia Earth is to “inform, inspire, and activate” communities to positively impact the planet.

It reimagines the most pressing environmental issues of our time in breathtaking ways, showing visitors how their small everyday choices impact the future of Earth in significant ways.

Pretty soon, Canadians will have the opportunity to go on this unique journey right in the heart of Toronto at The Well.

If you haven’t heard of The Well, it’s a shopping, dining, residential, and office district that is springing up in the downtown core.

It will be home to an indoor-outdoor shopping pavillion, a food market, a 22,000 sq ft event venue, office towers, and luxury condos.

Several of the retail tenants have already been announced at The Well — Australian eyewear store Bailey Nelson, popular fitness chain Sweat and Tonic, and Canada’s first-ever Arcadia Earth.

Arcadia Earth’s official opening date will be announced later this summer.

When that happens, you’ll be sure to find out right here so stay tuned!
