An incredible new BC attraction has announced an opening date

If you’re planning on heading to the island this summer, there’s a new attraction that you’re definitely going to want to check out. The Malahat Skywalk is Vancouver Islan’s newest outdoor attraction and it’s unlike anything BC has seen before. With a 32-meter-tall wooden skywalk, you can’t miss it.

The Malahat Skywalk is about a 30-minute drive from Victoria and is located at the edge of the Cowichan Valley. You truly are able to get a birds-eye view of BC and more as you overlook Mt. Baker, Finlayson Arm, the Saanich Peninsula, and even into Washington State. And what’s extra cool about the skywalk is that it is also accessible to those on wheels like strollers and wheelchairs.

Beyond the Skywalk you’ll also be able to check out an elevated boardwalk, walking trails, and a welcome center. It’s also worth mentioning that purchased tickets are valid for up to a year. This means you don’t need reservations or timed entry and can buy your tickets quite a bit in advance. Plus if you end up totally falling in love with it you can buy a pass.

Now if you’re chomping at the bit to visit, we have some good news, it opens this month. And you can actually buy tickets now so you might as well get your summer started on a high note and buy some. If you end up checking it out before us be sure to let us know what you think. You can learn more by clicking below.
