A Toronto-native is taking over Looney Tunes! Meet Eric Bauza, the Scarborough-born voice actor who will be bringing Bugs Bunny to life. After growing up watching the iconic character from his home in Toronto, this cool gig is the actor’s dream come true.
Eric Bauza booked the gig after only two auditions. Well, two auditions and a lifetime of getting to the root of the character.
“My equivalent of the gym is watching one hour of Looney Tunes almost every other day,” he recently told CBC Toronto. Whew, that’s a whole lotta Looney Tunes!

But boy did all that work pay off! Bauza is now living in Los Angeles while he works on the famous show. He’ll also be the voice behind other classic characters like Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird, and Marvin the Martian. Not too shabby, huh?
