All the changes you need to know now that Canada’s Wonderland is finally open

We know that many of you have missed out on your summer fun faves. But get excited because Canada’s Wonderland is officially back open to the public. Now as with other reopenings there are a few things that you should know. Let’s get into the details.

The main changes are that reservations are required beforehand, face coverings are required on-site, and passive health screenings are mandatory before entering the park. On the reservation front, it’s important to note that even season pass holders need to reserve their visit date ahead of time.

Once in the park, you’ll be asked to use the park mobile app and also allow location services for real-time updates plus be sure to bring some contactless payment methods.

Once you’ve used the mobile app to scan in for your day of fun you’ll be asked to frequently wash your hands and use the hand sanitizer around the park. Of course, you’re also expected to social distance and that’s pretty dang normal at this point. As for what you can and can’t ride, you’ll want to refer to the mobile app as it has all the up-to-date happenings on what’s open and closed.

If you’re wondering, you will need a reservation for entry to Splash Works. And when it comes to food, it will still be available but in disposable only formats and with no indoor dining. Additionally, games will be open with physical distancing and mask-wearing, but the indoor Canterbury Theatre will be closed.
