Well folks, we might have come across the most dedicated Christmas lights display in all of Canada. In Stony Plain, Alberta, one man has channelled the energy of Clark Griswold from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation in a big way. Cousin Eddie has even stopped by!
According to a CTV interview, Jon Harringa has spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours putting up over 30,000 Christmas lights. He went and found a life-size ‘Cousin Eddie’ statue to put beside his (also decorated) RV. Seriously, this is some dedication to having the best house on the block. We’re big fans, if you couldn’t tell.
