Wild Rose Country has plenty of trails, but Paradise Valley and Giant Steps is among the best, especially if you’re looking for a colourful experience.

Located in Banff National Park this particular hike will take about 7 to 8 hours to complete but offers great views of Mount Temple.

What’s more, those who love to take photos or just appreciate nature can identify midsummer wildflowers and are encouraged to take in the “dramatic surroundings” at the Giant Steps Waterfall.

Want to visit? According to Parks Canada you’ll have to take transit to the Paradise Valley trailhead, but you’ll want to get there early!

“A limited number of Paradise Valley transit seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Park and Ride, located at the Lake Louise Ski Area on Whitehorn Dr,” they explain, so plan ahead!

It’s quite the spot and you won’t want to miss checking it out.

Hiking in Alberta really is some of the best!
