These major airlines are hiring right now in BC and they offer great benefits & perks

Looking to branch out into a new career, potentially in the sky? From flight attendants and in-flight operators to customer service agents, there are several prominent airlines hiring in BC right now. And if perks are a priority, it doesn’t get much better than travel and vacation packages.

Here are a few airlines with open positions currently hiring in BC.

Air Canada

Let’s start with one of the bigger names. Air Canada is currently hiring flight attendants and cabin service staff, ground support technicians, and a few positions in sales and management.

Benefits include health and dental coverage, wellness benefits, and employee travel programs with discounted fares, car rentals, and vacation packages.

Emirates

Serving over 150 cities across 85 different countries around the world, Emirates is considered one of the highest-rated airlines in the world. And they’re having a hiring fair in Burnaby on March 29th, if you want to connect with recruiters in person and learn more about the company’s open roles!

What’s in it for you? A tax-free salary, great medical coverage, and concessional travel benefits, for starters. The company also covers accommodation and transport to and from work, and exclusive discounts on shopping and leisure activities in Dubai.

Flair Airlines

The budget-friendly airline Flair is looking to hire an Ancillary Revenue Manager, Data Engineer, and Sales and Distribution Manager based in Richmond.

In terms of benefits, Flair offers employees a comprehensive medical plan, dental coverage, emergency travel insurance, an employee & family assistance program, and the ability to travel anywhere within their network.

WestJet

With open roles in customer service and flight operations at Vancouver International Airport, WestJet might not be hiring for any in-flight roles within BC, but there are certainly options for those who prefer to be based in their cities.

And the benefits? A competitive total rewards package, travel privileges for you and your family (effective from your start date!), and flexible savings and benefit programs.

Harbour Air

Last but certainly not least, we come to one of the largest seaplane companies in the world. And if you’re a pilot or engineer looking for an exciting new role, you should definitely check out their open positions (dock operations, engineering, admin, & more) – all of which are based in Vancouver, Whistler, Richmond, or Victoria.

As the first fully carbon-neutral airline in North America, Harbour Air is really setting the bar high. And their employee benefits follow suit, with worldwide interline travel privileges with Canadian and international airlines, Harbour Air pass privileges, hotel, dining, and rental car discounts, extended medical and life insurance, and a health & wellness allowance.

Well, that’s a wrap on airlines hiring in BC, everyone. Happy job hunting!
