Here are the most popular destinations in Canada this fall, according to Airbnb

What does autumn look like to you? More likely than not – it’s a cabin and comfy socks, bright orange trees, falling leaves and a pumpkin-spiced latte. Luckily, we live in a country where peaks, valleys and in-city foliage are easily accessible and vacation rentals are aplenty.

Still not sure where to go? Airbnb Canada has just revealed the top 10 trending destinations in the country.

“It’s no surprise that Canada’s diverse landscape is inspiring travellers before the snow and arctic cold arrives,” they wrote. “At the same time, more and more Canadians are also turning to hosting on Airbnb – opening up their homes to travellers near and far… Canada saw a nearly 100 percent increase in new Hosts in Q2 of 2022 compared to the same time last year.”

From chalets, waterfront escapes and secluded treehouses – homeowners have committed to offering unique and relaxing places to get away, take photos and get some fresh air – making some destinations more popular than others.

From Ontario and Quebec to Alberta, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, those near water, mountains and forests reigned supreme, but which cities really set themselves apart?
