These are some of the cheapest available rentals in Vancouver right now

It’s that time of the month again, Vancouver. While the average rent for a one-bedroom has risen to $2,787 per month according to Rentals.ca, there are some rentals in Vancouver available for significantly less, if you know where to look.

And if you’re looking for more options and considering moving out of the city, check out the cheapest places to live in BC.

So with that in mind, here are some of the cheapest rentals available in Vancouver right now.

150 21st Street: $1,850 per month

Centrally located between West Vancouver’s Ambleside and Dundarave neighbourhoods, Seaside Tower is well-maintained, fully accessible, and currently home to a community of long-term residents, who enjoy close access to transit, shops, a community centre, and the seawall.

The available suite is a studio for $1,850 per month, including heat. Note that this building is not pet-friendly.

1100 Harwood Street: $2,269+ per month

Rooftop pool with panoramic city views, anyone? This West End rental seems like the ultimate bachelor/bachelorette pad. Just steps from the Aquatic Centre, seawall, and Sunset Beach, the building also features on-site laundry, a sauna, bike storage, and underground parking.

1371 Harwood Street: $2,240 per month

This six-storey tall pet-friendly building features a range of bachelor, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units – all with open-concept kitchens, newly-finished flooring, and heat and water included in the rent. Residents enjoy close access to Sunset Beach, the seawall, parks, and shopping amenities.

1083 West 58th Avenue: $2,200 per month

This last pick is a solid one for students and working professionals who lead busier lifestyles outside of their homes. This fully furnished 1,100-square-foot basement suite is close to all the South Granville shops, cafes, restaurants, and neighbourhood parks, and easily connected to downtown, Langara, UBC, and Richmond by transit. Heat and water are included in the rent – though the house is not pet-friendly.
