These adorable puppies and kittens are up for adoption in Ontario

Do you want to introduce a new furry family member into your life? Well, you’re in luck because there are so many adoptable puppies and kittens in Ontario right now, and what better time than the holiday season!

The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society have many amazing cats, dogs, and small animals available for adoption at its 13 animal centres across the province.

All of the animals adopted from the Ontario SPCA are spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations, said the organization in an emailed statement to Curiocity this fall.

Not only that but they are also sent to their new home with food from Royal Canin.

However, it’s important to note that adopting an animal is a serious commitment.

“Welcoming an animal into your life is a big responsibility and a commitment for the lifetime of that animal,” says the Ontario SPCA.

“Before adopting, do your research on what type of animal might be best suited to your lifestyle and make sure you understand what that animal will need for care throughout its life.”

They are also looking for homes for animals who need fostering, which you can read about here.

Below are just some of the many precious dogs and cats ready to find their fur-ever homes in Ontario.

If you’re not ready to adopt, donations go a long way at the Ontario SPCA to help provide care and shelter for the animals.

The organization “depends on the generosity of donors to change the lives of animals,” and you can send a donation online here.

And if you’ve already fallen in love with one of these adoptable puppies and kittens in Ontario, you can apply to bring them home!
