A ton of Canada’s Greyhound buses are going up for auction

The whole idea of being able to live on the road is slightly alluring. Limited possessions, no rent, being able to roam freely on Canada’s scenic highways. If it’s been a dream of yours, you’re going to want to keep reading because a major Greyhound bus auction in Canada is about to go down.

Greyhound shut down its Canadian operations earlier this year. And that means that 38 very well-maintained motorcoach models could be yours. Some of the buses include amenities like wheelchair accessibility, leather seats, multimedia screens, and onboard restrooms.

Even more enticing, university buses, like the one sporting the Western Mustang’s look picture above, are up for auction as well.

It’s not every day that you get the chance to own a Greyhound bus. In fact, it’s the first time that “Greyhound has ever released any of their buses to auction” according to The Star. So buy and resell, strip the bus down and build a home on wheels or just own a Greyhound bus because you can.

With studies showing as few as five percent of Canadians wanting to return to the office full time, work-from-anywhere opportunities have upped the allure for anything from souped-up sprinter vans to Greyhound bus auctions like this one.
