Hunter S. Thompson fans eat your hearts out, because a former Hells Angels clubhouse is officially on the market in Edmonton, and it actually looks pretty nice. The Elmwood home saw a brief stint of notoriety a few years back when it was targeted in a massive, city-wide police raid.
But that was 2014, and this is now. Stripped of most of the telltale motorcycle club signs, the home actually looks pretty normal these days. Sure, there might be a large safe in one of the rooms…
And, it’s located right beside a surveillance station, so that’s a pretty obvious sign. But other than that, we see a well-kept, 3 bedroom home that maybe needs some new interior paint colours, and not much else. Well, having only one bathroom does sound a little cramped, too.

Listed at $289,900, the home is actually under the average price of the neighbourhood. We guess that ‘former motorcycle club hangout’ doesn’t necessarily appeal to every kind of buyer. But hey, if you’re looking to experience all sorts of home vibes, this might be the place for you.
Especially when the ‘garage’ is as impressive as it is. Billed as ‘oversized’, the pictures show a downright impressive home bar and meeting space, complete with a wet bar, a TV, and more. Forget your local sports bar, you can seriously host the entire neighbourhood at your place (when public health restrictions allow it). One thing’s for sure- you’ll be royalty at the next block party.
We should also note that the home hasn’t been in the news since 2014, so it’s unlikely that it’s being sold due to legal issues. Maybe the chapter found an even bigger garage to hang around in- we’re sure that there’s ample commercial space available in Edmonton right now.
