After wreaking havoc in other parts of the province over the weekend, the BC storm came to Vancouver on Monday, and things are getting crazy. How crazy? Well, one great example is a series of videos showing a barge crashing into the Vancouver seawall at Sunset Beach…
Luckily, resident Jorge Amigo (@amigojor on Twitter) captured the event as it unfolded. Things started off with the barge seemingly on a collision course with the Burrard Street Bridge, but it got caught up after colliding with the seawall near Sunset Beach.
And while it’s the most spectacular, the barge crashing into the seawall in Vancouver isn’t the only crazy thing to happen today. Other effects of the massive storm include flash flooding, property damage, and power outages…

So yeah, it’s been a crazy Monday for Vancouver, to say the least. Stay safe out there, folks!
