A 12-year-old from BC just built a Guinness World Record Jenga Tower

Move over, people who balance rocks down by the river, because a new champion has emerged. In the fall of last year, a 12-year-old boy from Salmon Arm, BC broke the record for most Jenga blocks stacked on top of a single one. What’s more, he smashed the previous record. Here’s the scoop!

On November 29th, 2020, Auldain Maxwell spent just over an hour trying to beat the record. To do so, he used 693 Jenga blocks, which required some 13 different sets. Honestly, the result is very impressive.

That’s over 200 blocks more than the previous record, which was 485 blocks. Crazily, the former record was set in July of 2020, so it only stood for a few months before getting toppled (haha).

Apparently, Auldain has wanted to hold a Guinness World Record since he was 6, and has been stacking stuff his entire life. Well, we’re happy to see that he could mix his two passions and enter the history books!
