Here’s where to watch the 2024 Paris Paralympics in Canada

The 2024 Paris Paralympics get underway today, August 28th! This year the games will feature 4,400 amazing athletes from all over the globe. If you’re ready to cheer on Team Canada but don’t have a ticket booked for Paris don’t worry, there are options to catch all the games.

Firstly, let’s break down the 2024 games a little before we dive into where to watch.

According to the Canadian Paralympic Committee, “The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will unfold over twelve days of relentless competition and vibrant camaraderie, from August 28 to September 8, 2024.”

There will be 23 sports represented during this year’s games spanning 549 events at 20 different venues in Paris.

For the Canadian squad, 126 athletes are competing in the 2024 games.

Where to watch

In Canada, there are a handful of ways to catch the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

CBC/Radio-Canada will provide Canadian coverage starting today, Wednesday, August 28th to Sunday, September 8th in English on CBC (cable), CBC Gem, CBC’s Paris 2024 website and through the CBC Paris 2024 app for Android and iOS devices.
