Parking

While we’d actually recommend taking the C-train to the Stampede, parking is available to those who need it.

For a spot close to the grounds, the Calgary Stampede does has public parking available for day use for $30 per entry.

Vehicles can be left overnight but must be removed by 8 am the next day.

You’re also able to park in and around downtown – but prices and availability vary.

Midway and Food

Food

Whether you love the classic corndogs, mini donuts, and lemonade or want to try something like their cheeseburger ice cream, this year’s Stampede Midway has some incredibly tasty and unique menu items. Hit the link above for just some of the wacky eats you can indulge in at this year’s event.

Midway

Do you have a competitive spirit? For classic games like whack-a-mole and exhilarating rides, the Midway is THE place. This year, take a spin on the Ferris Wheel, put your luck to the test and work together to win prizes!

If you’d like to purchase ride and game coupons check out one of the many N.A.M.E kiosks throughout the Midway and Great FUNtier.

Admission

Last but not least – you’ll need to know how much to put aside to enter the park.

This year’s admission is as follows:

  • General (Age 13-64) $25.00
  • Seniors (Age 65+) $17.00
  • Child (Age 7-12) $16.00
  • Child (Under 7) Free
  • Sneak-A-Peek* $13.00 (Thursday, July 4th, 2024)

However, they will also host several ‘value days‘ when you can actually get in free of charge!

Going all 10 days? Be sure to get a SuperPass.

Sold online and in-store at participating Sobeys, Safeway, IGA’s, FreshCo, and Chalo FreshCo., the $49 pass will get you into the park every day from the event’s beginning to its end.

But there you have it, folks! Your 2024 guide to the Calgary Stampede.

It’s going to be a wild 10 days, friends. Please be safe, be smart and enjoy yourselves! It’s not every day that the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth comes around.
