Around the world, the countdown to 2024 is on and in Edmonton, the New Year’s Eve celebrations will be explosive!
Back by popular demand, one of the city’s biggest parties will once again take place in the iconic ICE District.

It all kicks off at 5 pm for a very special Oilers watch party where the public will be encouraged to eat, drink, dance and cheer our home team to victory when they play the Anaheim Ducks.
Following the game, check out some incredible ice carvings by the crew at Chiseled, then enjoy a special performance by country music star Josh Ross as well as Alberta’s very own Taylor-Rae.
Closer to midnight, point your peepers to one of the giant countdown screens and watch the fireworks go off at midnight.
The best part?
This entire event is FREE to attend, so get a group together, dress warm and enjoy – but beware.
