If you’re looking to beat the heat this summer, then you’ll be happy to know that 2 of the best and biggest waterparks in the GTA are returning! Around the city, you can find some great spots to make a splash at. So, let’s see which ones have made the announcement!
First up is Wet’n’Wild in Brampton. At a whopping 45 acres and featuring dozens of slides and attractions, this is one of the biggest water parks in Canada, not just Ontario. Following the province moving into Step 2 this week, they’ve announced that they’ll be reopening on Wednesday, July 7th.

And guess what? Only a few days later, July 12th, Splash Works at Canada’s Wonderland opens too! Although smaller than Wet’n’Wild, Splash Works also features some thrilling rides, places to lounge in the shade, and a lazy river to relax in. Of course, it’s also in Canada’s Wonderland, which means classic amusement park rides as well.
