Every community has its Griswold. You know – that one family that goes above and beyond to light the night and actually succeeds, maybe even forcing you to get blackout shades. If you live in Auburn Meadows, chances are, you’re already aware of yours! With a house covered in over 14,000 colourful bulbs, the Fauser’s are those people.
Calgarians are incredibly enthusiastic when it comes to the holidays, but few can compete with the Fauser Family.

Every night at 4:30 pm (and every half hour after that until 8:30 pm) between now and New Year’s Eve, fellow city slickers can actually drive by, tune into their radio station, (because yeah, they have their own radio station) and watch their home light-up to beloved Christmas classics.
Because they take the art of holiday light choreography seriously, each show is about 27 minutes long. So it’s well worth the drive, and it’s totally free – because they’re lovely people (we’re assuming, we’ve never met them.)
Honestly, guys, the Fauser Family put so much work into this, so it would practically be a crime to miss it. Check it out and enjoy – we know we will!
