Whether you’ve been loving the solitude, or were bored AF scrolling through Netflix, the past 18 months have been…lonely, to say the least. We can’t deny that we haven’t been missing out on going to events, which is why we’re pumped to say that one of our favourites is finally returning!

This month, the Calgary Comics & Entertainment Expo will be returning for 3 days of family-friendly fun with ‘Calgary Expo: Limited Edition’. From September 10th to 12th, you can expect to find world-renowned celebs, special events & attractions, and all things pop culture. So whether you’re a fan of movies, anime, comics, horror, sci-fi, fantasy, cosplay, gaming, or all of the above- the Calgary Expo: Limited Edition will have something for you.

With smaller crowds, a special day dedicated to our health care heroes and enhanced safety measures, this year’s limited edition Calgary Expo will also be coming back in a safe way for the community. And on September 10th, anyone with a valid AHS work ID will receive complimentary admission!

So, what can you expect at this year’s event?

From celebrity photo & autograph sessions to walking Artist Alley & shopping at various vendors and retailers, you can spend an entire day just strolling the space without having a second of boredom.

And if you’re dressing up yourself or just enjoy cosplay, it’ll be even better. The show will not only feature a top-notch Cosplay Red Carpet for all the best cosplayers to show off their fits but also cosplay meet-ups and a kid’s costume contest for the littles.

Guess what? There’s more. The panel Q&As will let you get all those burning questions answered by the stars and minds behind your favourite characters, shows, games, and films.

And if you’re still not satisfied, you can check out the world-class voice actors behind some classic characters, community zones to hang with other fans, and a whole lot more.

Tickets for Calgary Expo: Limited Edition are on sale now, and to keep the aisles breezy and comfortable, capacity is capped at 25,000 people for the whole BMO Centre!
