You can play a unique game of soccer inside of giant balls right here in Seattle

Soccer is generally a pretty normal, beloved sport. But people love to take their own spins on all sorts of things. That’s definitely the case with Seattle Bubble Soccer which is all about creating avenues for people to enjoy the unique game of bubble soccer. Never heard of it? You’re not alone.

Judging by the name you can probably guess how the game is played. The top half of your body goes inside a giant, inflated see-through ball and you continue on with the game. But what differs about the game is the objective. In bubble soccer, you want to score against your opponent’s net but also knock each other down while trying. It kind of reminds us of a cross between dodgeball and bumper cars.

It’s worth mentioning that when you’re inside the ball your hands and arms are fixed so you really have to rely on your legs and lower body to play. Honestly, as far as hybrid sports go, this one seems pretty dang fun. We might even be interested in playing a game or two. If you’re feeling the same way you can book a game ranging from 45 minutes to 2 and half hours. Prices will range from $275-$700 depending on what you choose. Keep in mind that you’ll also need to provide your own field.

Just think about how much fun this would be in summer. It’s a great way to reunite with friends, family, or even coworkers. And Seattle has so many fields that we think you’ll have no problem finding a place to play. If you end up booking a game be sure to let us know how it is and maybe invite us.
