You can now take a scenic ‘open top tour’ of Banff in a vintage 1930s bus

Anyone who has lived in Calgary for a while has likely seen Banff in every light, in every season from every angle… except one! Before October 12th, feel that nip in the air and the wind on your face by taking an Open-Top Tour of Alberta’s favourite mountain town in a vintage-style coach.

Each 90-minute ride will be led by a guide in a 1930s period costume and will feature a cast of rich characters, fascinating stories, incredible views, and a ton of photo opportunities.

Also, tours are done in intimate groups of 10, making it COVID-friendly and more interactive. Bonus!

Guests can choose to take expeditions of Mount Norquay, Surprise Mountian, the Bow River, and Tunnel Mountian, each of which will offer dramatic views, possible wildlife sightings, and a good freaking time.

For those who are worried about freezing to death, it’s also worth noting that glass will be put on the roof depending on the weather, so there’s no need to worry about anything but being there on time and having a charged phone… actually, you won’t even have to worry about that because the seats have USB charging ports installed. How convenient.
