You can get FREE entrance to all of Washington’s National Parks next week

Looking to get outdoors this month? You can enjoy an autumn hike or even explore the site of the country’s deadliest avalanche. Best of all, you can check out these hikes and many more for free on November 11th thanks to Free Entrance Days. It’s the perfect time to discover a new place or revisit an old favorite.

Now why November 11th? Well, it’s Veterans Day, and many of our nation’s National Parks have connections to our military whether they’re battlefields, military parks, or historic sites. Some of the most iconic National Parks with military ties include the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, the USS Arizona Memorial, and the Statue of Liberty. These parks and many more continue to commemorate and honor the service of American veterans.
