An outdoor adventure is calling your name at this incredible 1.5 km skating trail. The Fern Resort is offering a truly Canadian experience this winter. It’s got to be one of the best spots for winter sports out there and it’s only around 90 minutes from the city.

If you opt for Sun and Skate, you’ll also get access to a full country breakfast, the area’s cross country ski trails, the lake with hockey, curling, and crokicurl, snowshoeing, plus an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. Those are some pretty stellar bonuses.

But if you go for the Torch Lit Skate, you’ll enjoy a 4-course dinner plus an evening bonfire. If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day gift, a trip here would be perfect.
