Canada wins again! Forbes has ranked the world’s top female-friendly companies and a Canadian firm managed to snag a spot in the top five.
In a partnership with the market research company Statista, about 400 companies were analyzed and over 85,000 women working at multinational institutions in 36 different countries, were surveyed.
“Our top honorees tout not only competitive pay and strong career advancement opportunities but also flexible work arrangements which experts agree are critical to correct gender inequities,” shared Forbes.
Out of the hundreds of companies listed, Canadian company Desjardins Group came in fourth. Per the list, it was the only Canadian name to rank in top 10.
According to Desjardins, at the moment, 59% of managers in the company are women. And to continue their efforts for a more inclusive workplace, they have introduced several initiatives, like the Empowering Women network.
