There’s a holiday parade, tree lighting & local vendors at this Toronto Christmas market

Get into the holiday spirit at this Toronto Christmas market with local vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment. Offering that small-town feel, the Willowdale Christmas Market and walking parade welcomes all to enjoy an evening of festivities to bring in the holiday season.

The third annual We Love Willowdale Christmas Market & Walking Parade kicks off on November 25th from 2 PM to 9 PM.

North York’s Mel Lastman Square will transform into an outdoor market with 60 local vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment.

Make sure to watch the Walking Parade in action starting at 5:30 PM and head back to the square for the Festive Tree Lighting Ceremony presented by the Yonge North York BIA.

Sip on hot chocolate, treat yourself to some Tiny Tom donuts, and support local businesses while exploring the market.

“The message of Christmas is about faith, hope, and love,” shares organizers. “People from all backgrounds of faith, culture, and walks of life are welcome to join in.”

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP and can do so for free online. There’s also a $5 donation option when you RSVP that would go toward supporting local families.

It’s about to be a busy holiday weekend!

Cost: FREE (donations accepted)
