From bars to watch parties: Here’s where to catch Game 6 of the Canucks playoffs in Vancouver

Listen up, Vancouver. The Canucks may not have come out on top against the Predators last night, but we’re still in the lead and moving forward to Game 6 on Friday, May 3rd (time TBD), which is an away game. That means that Vancouver’s sports bars are sure to fill up quickly that day, so we’re here to give you some ideas on where to start booking.

There are two games left in the first round of the Canucks vs Predators series: An away game on Friday, May 3rd, and a home game on Sunday, May 5th. So let’s rally together in our blue, white, and green!

Watch parties

To start, there are a handful of watch parties taking place in Metro Vancouver to note. The City of Burnaby is hosting a free viewing party for Game 6 on the second floor of the newly opened Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre, a 92,000-square-foot recreation centre on 10th Avenue and 18th Street.

There’s another family-friendly viewing party taking place in Delta at the Social Heart Plaza, where fans of all ages are encouraged to gather and cheer on their home team.

Finally, the Port Coquitlam Community Centre has been hosting viewing parties for the past couple of games, offering special playoff concessions and prizes.
