Here’s what’s open and closed on New Year’s Day in Calgary

Celebrating the first day of the Gregorian calendar, New Year’s Day is an annual statutory holiday here in Canada. It’s a great day to head to the mountains, try snowshoeing at a local park, or hit the trails.
