Let’s add another major holiday celebration to our itinerary for November, because why not?! The annual Tree Lighting Celebration at Westlake Park is one of the biggest in Seattle, and we’re here to dish all the details for this year’s festivities.
Taking place on Friday, November 29th, the transformed downtown winter wonderland will offer visitors the chance to enjoy live music, stroll through holiday lights, and of course, witness the lighting of the 45-foot Christmas tree.
The festive fun rolls into December with the return of the Downtown Seattle Association’s popular free ice skating rink at Occidental Square, which is back from noon to 6 pm from December 13th to 15th.
So no matter your skill level, get ready to lace up your skates!
The day after the tree lighting on Saturday, November 30th through December 21st, Westlake Park will also host ‘Santa Saturdays’ from 1 to 3 pm.
Oh, and free concerts in the park on Saturday, December 7th and December 14th.
The Tree Lighting Celebration kicks off at 5 pm on Friday, November 29th, so mark your calendars and get ready to indulge in all the season has to offer!
Happy holidays, Seattle!
