“It is with great pleasure that WestJet will serve as Alberta’s only direct link to South Korea, furthering our 787 global connectivity from our home city of Calgary,” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
“Beyond creating greater two-way tourism opportunities, WestJet service between Seoul and Calgary will increase connectivity between Western Canada and Asia generating unique business and cargo opportunities.”
Aboard their luxurious 787 Dreamliner aircraft, Globetrotters will be able to enjoy service three times a week starting May 17th for departures from Calgary and then on May 18th for departures from Seoul.
While you cannot book your flight just yet, you can enter to win a round trip via their website – which will simultaneously sign you up for notifications from WestJet.
Who knows – Seoul might be your new favourite destination!
