The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival returns this month with one of the nation’s largest carnivals

Washington is in bloom this spring! From tulips to cherry blossoms, our state is looking mighty beautiful. If you’re not done celebrating spring, you can check out the Apple Blossom Festival which kicks off later this month. Here’s what we know about this year’s festival.

The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival runs from April 27th to May 7th and historically has celebrated Wenatchee’s legacy as one of the nation’s premier apple-growing regions. These days the festival continues to celebrate that history, but has expanded with all sorts of fun events for people of all ages.

One of the main draws about the festival is the fact that it actually has the seventh largest carnival in the nation. Yep, that’s right! There are approximately 25 rides and games for all age groups, plus lots of food.

Beyond the carnival, there’s a golf tournament, a food fair, a youth parade, a grand parade, and an arts & crafts fair.

Each day has something new so it’s worth it to check out the event calendar, plan ahead and enjoy a few days of fun.
