Happy Thursday folks! Ready or not, this list of things to do in Vancouver is going to bring you into December. Are you excited? Scared? Ambivalent? Whatever you’re feeling, we’re here to help you out with fun options in the city.

Here are 8 things to do this weekend in Vancouver.

Toque Craft Fair

Known as Vancouver’s best-curated craft fair, Toque is your opportunity to get fantastic Christmas presents while supporting the city’s arts scene. If you’re feeling extra festive, head down Friday night for refreshments and a bratwurst while you shop.

When: Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1
Where: 303 E 8th Avenue
Cost: Free to attend!

Graham Clark’s 24 Hours of Standup for Charity

The Canadian comedy legend is in for a rough time, but we salute him for attempting 24 hours of continuous standup. We suggest heading down around hour 14 or 15 to catch what is sure to be some of the weirdest jokes told this year.

When: Friday, November 29 to Saturday, November 30
Where: Havana Theatre
Tickets: $10 and up (proceeds go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation)

CandyTown 2019

Yaletown is transforming into a winter wonderland for one day only! Head down to see live entertainment, shop at a Christmas market, and for the adults, take a self-guided cocktail tour through the area. Not such a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

When: Saturday, November 30
Where: Yaletown
Cost: Free!

Canucks vs. Oilers

Kick off December with a little bit of hockey! Not only do you get to see two teams that are beating expectations this season, but you can witness the best player in the league right now.

When: Sunday, December 1
Where: Rogers Arena
Cost: $99 and up

Imperial & Strong Beer Festival

Some of Vancouver’s best breweries are coming together to show off their strong beer selection this winter. Want something with a little more kick than classic egg nog? You’ll find it here.

When: Sunday, December 1
Where: Parallel 49 Brewing
Cost: Free to attend!

Turnover + Men I Trust

Confession time- we only care about seeing Men I Trust live. They don’t tour often, they just put out a new album that’s great… it’s a no brainer of a show.

When: Sunday, December 1
Where: Vogue Theatre
Tickets: $30

Aurora Winter Festival

The PNE has been transformed into a winter wonderland, and you’re invited to check it out! All the benefits of a Christmas market, but with amusement rides thrown in? We’re sold.

When: Throughout the weekend
Where: Hastings Park/PNE
Tickets: $17.99

Canyon Lights

Practically a rite of passage for any self-respecting Vancouverite, the Canyon Lights transform Capilano’s suspension bridge into a magical holiday display. Hundreds of thousands of holiday lights plus we get to mess around on a suspension bridge? Oh boy.

When: Throughout the weekend
Where: Capilano Suspension Bridge
Tickets: $53.95 (yikes!)

That’s our guide for the things to do in Vancouver this weekend! Sunday is going to be jam-packed for us, we want beer, we want to watch hockey, and we want to see Men I Trust. Wish us luck!
