Two of the North Vancouver ski resorts open this weekend!

Via Grouse Mountain

So, you heard that Whistler opened recently and are wondering how local Vancouver ski resorts are looking? Well, we’re happy to say that both Grouse Mountain and Cypress Mountain are opening for the season this weekend! Time for some warm-up runs, hey?

Cypress Mountain Resort actually just had their first chair of the season. Thanks to their snowmaking team, guests can ski the entire length of the mountain, although some runs are understandably closed. Plus, for you park rats out there the terrain park has got 4 features available.

Meanwhile, Grouse Mountain will be opening tomorrow morning. Like Cypress, expect limited terrain. But, it’s a great opportunity to get some night-skiing in and they’re doing discounted lift tickets, so you can save a little bit of cash.

We’re big fans of either of these local Vancouver ski resorts, so we have no horse in this race. We just wanted you to know that it’s not just Whistler that’s available for skiing! Have a great season!
