We only had a few months last summer to enjoy the Greenheart TreeWalk at the UBC Botanical Garden, so we’re making sure to give an early update this year. This new temperate rainforest treewalk in Vancouver is your chance to enjoy the garden from a whole new perspective.

The TreeWalk officially opens on April 1st and should be available until the fall. The route winds some 310-metres through the forest. And on the other hand, the TreeWalk soars over 20m into the sky at some points! Hope you’re not scared of a little height.

While you’re on the walk, you’ll be treated to a unique view of the forest canopy. Douglas firs, cedars, and grand firs are dominant here. Plus, some of the specimens are over 100 years old. And if you’re really devoted, you can also sign up for a guided tour.

As for us? Well, we kind of just want to go mess around safely on some rope bridges. And now, there’s one more option for us in the city! Tickets go on sale on March 31st, so mark your calendars, folks!
