Canada is a great country. Are we perfect? Absolutely not. But we do have great people, places, and for the most part, jobs! Obviously, the benefits of certain jobs can seriously outweigh others, but the big question everyone always wants to know is ‘what do I need to do to get paid’?  Like, really paid. Well, the international jobseeker platform Jobseem has just released some info on which provinces in Canada have the most open high-paying jobs, and it looks pretty promising.

For the purpose of this article, we’re going to focus on provinces with the highest level of demand for high-paying jobs. So if you’re looking to move, this information could greatly benefit you. What constitutes a high-paying job in Canada? Well, according to Jobseem, it appears that high-paying jobs are ones sitting at about $55,000 CAD a year and up.

Interestingly, COVID-19 has left a ton of skilled labor and high-paying jobs available in Canada. Maybe not so surprisingly, Ontario leads the list with 213,300 vacant positions.

And Quebec follows shortly behinds with 145,200 which is followed by BC with a pale 78,400 in comparison. So if you’re an educated and/or skilled worker looking to find a new career in Canada, you might just be able to. Because the pandemic has left a lot of positions waiting to be filled.
