Good news to all the art lovers out there! After an extended hiatus, The Polygon is returning with its first major exhibition in the gallery. The exhibition will be kicking off at the start of September, and here’s what you can expect.

The show is called ‘Third Realm’. It’s a group show focusing on contemporary East and Southeast Asian art. With some notable names, it’s a look into how that part of the world has evolved over the past 15-odd years. Honestly, it’s going to be a treat from both the aesthetic and cultural perspectives.

One name we’re particularly excited about is Chinese artist Cao Fei. Just last year, Cao became the first Chinese artist to get a solo exhibition at the Pompidou in Paris. Which, as a refresher, is one of contemporary art’s most revered museums. Of course, she’s also joined by over a dozen other prominent artists from all over Asia.

So, we’re going to be marking our calendars for our return to The Polygon. We suggest you do the same! See you down there, folks.

Third Realm Exhibition at The Polygon
