The Canada/US border closure has been extended once again
If you were hoping to make a getaway down south you’re going to have to wait for a bit longer. The Canada/US border closure has been extended until at least February 21st. And with the trend of COVID-19 cases, it’s pretty safe to say that this closure will be extended once again.
We have to say we are not surprised and we’re sure you aren’t either. However, it’s pretty crazy to think that the border has been closed for almost a year. With that in mind, we know it’s for the best of both countries.
Discretionary (non-essential) travel restrictions between 🇺🇸 and 🇨🇦 have been extended to February 21, 2021.

As with past border closures, anyone entering Canada has to complete a 14-day quarantine. And travel into Canada for reasons like tourism or shopping are not allowed. So let’s keep our fingers crossed that both countries can vaccinate quickly and get our case numbers down.
Let this be a reminder to continue wearing your masks, social distancing, and washing your hands. If you’d like to learn more about the border closure you can click here.
Have a great week, folks!
