Big news came from the Ontario government today! It looks like we’ll be seeing even more loosened restrictions as we continue on in the Grey Zone of Ontario’s colour-coded lockdown framework. More specifically, a reopening of salons and outdoor fitness classes here in Toronto.

The information was shared by Premier Doug Ford during a press conference this afternoon. Although the city is remaining in lockdown for now, these changes are pretty significant.

Those of you itching for a workout will be happy to hear that outdoor fitness classes will be permitted beginning this Monday, March 29th. However, the classes will be capped at 10 people and there will be active COVID-19 screenings on site.

If you’re in major need of a haircut, you’ll have to wait just a touch longer. Barbershops, hair and nail salons, and beauty art establishments will be allowed to reopen their doors beginning Monday, April 12th. Of course, they will also be operating at a limited capacity.

Other significant changes include a loosening of capacity limits for things like weddings, funerals, and religious services.
