Lululemon just bought the next big thing in workout technology

Lululemon just bought the fitness technology company Mirror in a $500M USD deal, and we’re not going to lie to you, it’ll be hard to not feel like Lord Farquaard if we end up buying one. This interactive mirror provides on-demand personal training sessions and live classes through a mirror that doubles as a screen.

Yup, the future is now, as it always has been. Lululemon has actually been invested in the startup since last year. But, it’s hard to deny that the explosion of at-home workouts and the success of companies like Peloton might have sped the process up a little bit.

Once you purchase a Mirror, all you have to do is set it up, subscribe to the kinds of workouts that you want, and voila! You’ve got access to a guided workout that also lets you check out your form at the same time. We have to admit, it’s a pretty smart thing to do.

If you’d like to learn more about Mirror, click here to check out the company’s website. We’re going to stick with flexing in the bathroom for now, though.
