Serious question: is there anything better than an afternoon spent perusing the aisles at IKEA? We’re not sure that there is! It’s no secret the vibes at the iconic furniture retailer are simply unmatched. So when we heard the brand new location heading to downtown Toronto, we knew we had to share.
The new IKEA will be calling Downtown Yonge its home. Right in the heart of all the action, this Toronto spot is sure to pull in the crowds. It’ll have all the affordable goods the retailer is known for, only now those goods will be in a much more accessible location! We’ll certainly celebrate that!

Now before you run out your door in anticipation, you should know the location isn’t set to open until late 2021/early 2022. It’s a bit of a wait, but we’ll definitely be watching our calendars for it.
The new spot will offer over 2,000 IKEA products for immediate takeaway, plus loads of larger furniture items on display for delivery. They’ll also have a new food concept for customers to enjoy while they’re there.
